September is National Preparedness month. Each September, National Preparedness Month encourages and reminds Americans to be prepared for disasters or emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities.
Often times we think that (fill in the blank) emergency will not happen to us. Be it Flood, fire, hurricane, or tornado we never expect for it to happen to us.
The definition of emergency states " a serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action."
An emergency by definition is unexpected but with the correct preparation you can be ready for the unexpected.
